๐Ÿš€ About the position:

At Grip, hundreds of leading event organisers worldwide work with us as a partner in achieving their business goals to connect, inspire and engage their event participants.

The Grip platform is an exciting multi-faceted product with a complete SaaS dashboard for event organisers. The product also has a complete engagement platform for event participants across web and mobile which includes streaming, content, and networking which is underpinned by our award-winning AI-powered Matchmaking Engine.

Weโ€™re looking for a Finance Manager to support the business as we grow and scale rapidly. This role will result in Grip bringing the Finance function in-house and critical hire. If provides an opportunity to create a best in class Finance function. You will work within the finance team reporting to the CFO, but have strong links to departments across the business, as well as senior stakeholders.

This role can be 100% remote anywhere in the UK.

๐Ÿš€ Core Responsibilities:

  • Sales invoicing in a timely manner

  • Preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts (3 international entities, multi currencies)

  • KPI Reporting

  • Inter-company reporting and accounting

  • Supporting on statutory reporting

  • Preparation of VAT Returns

  • Managing Cash flow, AP and AR, using technology to automate where possible

  • Continual improvement of core processes and controls/implementing processes where they do not exist

  • Working with Sales and Commercial teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition

  • Supporting CFO on commercial activities including budgeting, forecasting and future fundraising

  • Involved in ad hoc projects across the business representing Finance

  • Work with provider on payroll

๐Ÿš€ Experience and Skills

  • Qualified accountant or QBE

  • High growth technology experience (understanding of SaaS)

  • Strong commercial acumen

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Xero experience

  • Ideally experience of working in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment
