Robotics Software Engineer
Climate Robotics seeks a robotics software engineer with expertise in heavy equipment, autonomous vehicles or other mobile robotics systems. We are building the next generation of agricultural machinery, which allows farmers to improve their soil while sequestering atmospheric carbon. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates based in North America. We offer competitive salary, benefits and stock options. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. We are open to remote work, or team members based in Austin, TX or San Francisco Bay Area.
Ideally you have built robots from the ground up. You’re comfortable in Python/ C/ C++ and working on a variety of problems. Experience with autonomous driving, robotics/ ROS, computer vision, machine learning are a plus. Passion and enthusiasm for agriculture and climate change are important.
-Strong embedded software development experience in Python/C/C++ -Experience with ROS systems and packages -Experience spacing and sourcing perception sensors, controllers, and hardware -Knowledge of perception methods and libraries (i.e.: OpenCV, PCL, point cloud processing pipeline) -Knowledge of deep learning based libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch -B.S./M.S in Computer Science/Robotics/ Electrical Computer Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering preferred
